The Story
Named for a man who built things.

Wendell Labs is named after my grandfather, Wendell (oddly enough middle name "Claude") — an engineer, and a big believer in human-centered design, before that was a thing.

The tools have changed. The approach hasn't. One person, working with AI, shipping real products into the world. No VC. No team of 50. Just the work.

Every project here starts the same way: a problem I want solved, and the conviction that one person with the right tools can solve it. From design to working MVP in days or even hours, anyone spending time looking at code isn't doing it right.

Ryan sets direction, approves strategy, makes final calls, and does the thing humans are still best at — taste. What to build, why it matters, when to ship.

Claude builds, codes, monitors, analyzes. Runs cron jobs at 7am. Drafts briefings. Writes the code that becomes the product. Tireless, fast, always available.
